Originally a Tobacco Sunburst V6, from the popular Vintage ICON Series, a classic model in itself, now over sprayed with this exuberant, striking colour, which has been taken back in all the right places, to reveal areas of the Eastern poplar body, offset with a 3-ply pearloid scratchplate which also features highly effective aging, focusing around the controls and pickup covers.
This meticulously applied aging theme is also featured within the hard rock maple neck and headstock, whilst the smooth 22 fret rosewood fingerboard lets you reach extra high notes not often associated with this guitar design.
Needless to say, fully loaded with Wilkinson hardware, this beautiful Vintage ProShop V6 Distressed Pink model, delivers an unsurpassed performance and tone, featuring a balanced pair of Wilkinson WVS vintage-voiced Alnico V pickups, with staggered, chamfered edged pole pieces in the neck and middle positions producing flagship single coil tones with contemporary power.
The centre pickup is reverse wound with reverse polarity for hum cancelling duties in switch position 2 and 4, whilst the high output Wilkinson WVC Double Coil at the bridge, delivers soaring sonics in abundance.
Time-tested hardware that’s also been through the subtle distressing process, includes Wilkinson WJ55 patented E-Z-Lok machine heads and a Wilkinson WVC vibrato bridge which is a masterpiece of detail in itself.
The missing vibrato back plate reveals the classic 3-spring vibrato set up, assuring spring and string tensions are equal, whilst the precision cut GraphTech nut also
ensures perfect return to pitch, from the shaking of chords or solo notes with a gentle tease or aggressive vibrato attack.

The Wilkinson WVC vibrato bridge featured on the Vintage V6 is a masterpiece of detail. Positive location, 6 screw design provides return to pitch accuracy; perpendicular bend, high grade steel saddles enhance tonality and ‘snap’. Ground base plate corner provides authentic looks. Stagger drilled cast block significantly enhances return to pitch accuracy and classic vintage tone. The ‘push-in’ delrin-bushed arm with variable tension provides the arm feel that suits your style.
Pickups:
Featuring a balanced pair of Wilkinson WVS vintage-voiced Alnico V pickups, with staggered, chamfered edge pole pieces, for authentic tone and contemporary power in the neck and middle positions. A Wilkinson double coil WVC pickup in the bridge position provides high output and hum cancelling operation.
Controls:
Single master Volume control with Tone control 1 for the neck and middle pickup, with 'Custom Mod' Tone control 2 for bridge pickup. Five-way selector switch.
Machines Heads:
