Vintage® Laka Series ukuleles are named in honour of Laka, the alluring Goddess of beauty, the daughter of Kapo, Goddess of fertility, birth, and sorcery.

Laka, Goddess of fertility, the forest, the arts and artistic expression, and of course the esteemed Hawaiian dance and art form, the Hula, is the spirit which causes the movement in the Hula dancer.

Vintage Laka series ukuleles are made with a respect for the natural world, crafted from carefully selected eco-responsible timbers and materials with premium hardware, and are all imbued with the beautiful mellifluousness so characteristic of the ukulele, from the Rainbow Series sopranos to the beautiful mahogany, maple and walnut soprano, concert and tenor ukes.
