Vintage introduces 'Historic' and 'Mahogany' series acoustic and electro-acoustic guitars.

Vintage Historic Series

With a beautiful satin top coat over a gorgeous Vintage Sunburst finish, the new Vintage® Historic Series™ acoustic and electro-acoustic guitars, radiate class in every sense of the word.

Stunning cosmetic features for these beautiful models available in parlour, orchestra, folk and dreadnought body sizes, include contrasting black/white/black body binding and soundhole rosette design, classic 3-aside headstock with gold Vintage logo and attractive split-block, white inlaid fingerboard position markers.

With a lightweight mahogany-spruce construction, and an exceptionally smooth 20 fret fingerboard, these superb models excel as a ‘players guitar’.

Spruce is the chosen tonewood for the soundboard, renowned for its strength to weight ratio, natural tight grain pattern and the ability to effortlessly deliver a well-rounded tonal response and note separation.

Paired with high quality mahogany backs, sides and necks, all models deliver an extensive tonal range with solid lows, punctuated mids and sweet highs, from the size-defying output of the parlour to the dreadnought’s power-themed big sounding chords.

Electronics for the electro-acoustic models include a Vintage® preamp with individual Volume, Bass, Middle and Treble EQ controls and phase switch, specifically designed to deliver accurate tonality of the guitar’s natural tonewood characteristics, to external sources such as mixing desks, amps, monitors or PA systems. There’s also a very handy built-in tuner and battery check indicator.

Smooth action tulip button machine heads ensure stable tuning and, fitted with high quality USA made strings as standard, the Vintage Historic Series acoustic and electro-acoustic guitars, perform and sound as good as they look.

Vintage Mahogany Series

The new Vintage® Mahogany Series™ of electro-acoustic guitars are stylish to say the least.

All models in this exciting new line which include Travel, Parlour, Folk, Grand Auditorium and Dreadnought, are offered with a gorgeous clear satin finish highlighting the natural open-grain and deep, reddish brown all-mahogany build.

Renowned for its stability, sound velocity and immense tone, mahogany has always been one of the most popular tonewoods for back, sides and necks. With an added high-grade mahogany soundboard, offset with an intricate abalone rosette, these superb new Vintage electro-acoustic guitars produce deep warm overtones, chords are rich and full, woody and warm, with a balanced output, excellent sustain and dynamics.

Joining the bodies at the 14 fret, ‘C’ profile mahogany necks, and wonderful fingerboards offer superb playability, whilst smooth-geared die-cast gold plated machine heads in classic 3-aside format on the square tapered headstock with gold M Series logo, ensure stable tuning.

Played acoustically, all models from the small-bodied ‘take me anywhere’ travel guitar that includes a Vintage padded carry bag, to the dreadnought’s powerful performance, have all the sonic merits that add up to outstanding electro-acoustic guitars, including touch-sensitive harmonics and dynamics, with impressive volume and projection. Strummed or fingerpicked, the separation and balance across the strings is unprecedented in this price range.

Just like the Historic electro's the Mahogany Series features individual Volume, Bass, Middle and Treble EQ controls and a Phase switch, with the Vintage® preamp capturing and delivering all frequencies uncoloured, to send to external sources such as mixing desks, amps, monitors or PA systems. There’s also a very handy built-in tuner and battery check indicator.

Fitted with high quality USA made strings as standard, the Vintage Mahogany Series electro-acoustic guitars sound and play superbly.
